1 · Direct Scripture definition
Both hash-bound exact claims were read in full. Both Gospel occurrences describe Christ changed in form, while outward appearance language could wrongly reduce the event to a merely superficial alteration. Matthew 17:2 directly describes the event by the shining face and white raiment; Mark 9:2's copular form is an occurrence, not by itself a definition.
