1 Chronicles 9:35–39

²³And he took Geshur, and Aram, with the towns of Jair, from them, with Kenath, and the towns thereof, even threescore cities. All these belonged to the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.

²⁴And after that Hezron was dead in Caleb-ephratah, then Abiah Hezron’s wife bare him Ashur the father of Tekoa.

⁴⁵And the son of Shammai was Maon: and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.

⁵⁰¶ These were the sons of Caleb the son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah; Shobal the father of Kirjath-jearim,

⁵¹Salma the father of Beth-lehem, Hareph the father of Beth-gader.

⁵²And Shobal the father of Kirjath-jearim had sons; Haroeh, and half of the Manahethites.

²⁹And at Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon; whose wife’s name was Maachah:

³⁰And his firstborn son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab,

³¹And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher.

³²And Mikloth begat Shimeah. And these also dwelt with their brethren in Jerusalem, over against them.

³³¶ And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi-shua, and Abinadab, and Esh-baal.

³⁴And the son of Jonathan was Merib-baal; and Merib-baal begat Micah.

³⁵And the sons of Micah were, Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz.

³⁶And Ahaz begat Jehoadah; and Jehoadah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza,

³⁷And Moza begat Binea: Rapha was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son:

³⁸And Azel had six sons, whose names are these, Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.

³⁹And the sons of Eshek his brother were, Ulam his firstborn, Jehush the second, and Eliphelet the third.

⁴⁰And the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valour, archers, and had many sons, and sons’ sons, an hundred and fifty. All these are of the sons of Benjamin.

³³¶ And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi-shua, and Abinadab, and Esh-baal.

³⁹And Ner begat Kish; and Kish begat Saul; and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi-shua, and Abinadab, and Esh-baal.

³¹And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher.

³²And Mikloth begat Shimeah. And these also dwelt with their brethren in Jerusalem, over against them.

²²So it came to pass in the day of battle, that there was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people that were with Saul and Jonathan: but with Saul and with Jonathan his son was there found.

²And the Philistines followed hard after Saul, and after his sons; and the Philistines slew Jonathan, and Abinadab, and Malchi-shua, the sons of Saul.

³³¶ And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi-shua, and Abinadab, and Esh-baal.

¹NOW it came to pass upon a day, that Jonathan the son of Saul said unto the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over to the Philistines’ garrison, that is on the other side. But he told not his father.

⁴⁹Now the sons of Saul were Jonathan, and Ishui, and Melchi-shua: and the names of his two daughters were these; the name of the firstborn Merab, and the name of the younger Michal:

⁵⁰And the name of Saul’s wife was Ahinoam, the daughter of Ahimaaz: and the name of the captain of his host was Abner, the son of Ner, Saul’s uncle.

⁵¹And Kish was the father of Saul; and Ner the father of Abner was the son of Abiel.

²And the Philistines followed hard upon Saul and upon his sons; and the Philistines slew Jonathan, and Abinadab, and Malchi-shua, Saul’s sons.
