1 Corinthians 3:1–2

¹³For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

^13†For euery one that vseth milke, is vnskilful in the word of righteousnes: for he is a babe.

¹⁴But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

¹⁵But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

¹⁴But the naturall man receiueth not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishnesse vnto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

^15*But he that is spirituall, ^‖iudgeth all things, yet he himselfe is ^‖iudged of no man.

¹³Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

¹⁴That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

¹³Till we all come ^‖in the vnitie of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Sonne of God, vnto a perfect man, vnto the measure of the ^‖stature of the fulnesse of Christ:

¹⁴That we hencefoorth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and caried about with euery winde of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftinesse, whereby they lye in waite to deceiue:

²⁰Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.

²⁰Brethren, bee not children in vnderstanding: how be it, in malice be yee children, but in vnderstanding be ^†men.

⁶Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

¹⁴For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

³For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

⁴For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

³For ye are yet carnall: for whereas there is among you enuying, and strife, and ^‖diuisions, are ye not carnall, and walke ^†as men?

⁴For while one saieth, I am of Paul, and another, I am of Apollo, are ye not carnall?

¹²I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.

¹²I write vnto you, little children, because your sinnes are forgiuen you for his Names sake.

¹BRETHREN, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

¹¶ Brethren, ^‖if a man bee ouertaken in a fault: yee which are spirituall, restore such a one in the spirit of meeknesse, considering thy selfe least thou also be tempted.

²³But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

¹¹Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.

¹²For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

¹⁴But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

¹¹Of whom we haue many things to say, and hard to be vttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.

¹²For when for the time yee ought to bee teachers, yee haue neede that one teach you againe which be the first principles of the Oracles of God, and are become such as haue need of milke, and not of strong meat.

^14‖‖But strong meate belongeth to them that are of full age, euen those who by reason of vse haue their senses exercised to discerne both good and euil.
