Genesis 36:14–15

²Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite;

³⁵¶ The sons of Esau; Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.

¹⁸¶ And these are the sons of Aholibamah Esau’s wife; duke Jeush, duke Jaalam, duke Korah: these were the dukes that came of Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau’s wife.

⁵And Aholibamah bare Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah: these are the sons of Esau, which were born unto him in the land of Canaan.

⁹And thy mighty men, O Teman, shall be dismayed, to the end that every one of the mount of Esau may be cut off by slaughter.

¹¹And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.

¹²And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau’s son; and she bare to Eliphaz Amalek: these were the sons of Adah Esau’s wife.

¹¹¶ Now when Job’s three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him.

³⁵¶ The sons of Esau; Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.

³⁶The sons of Eliphaz; Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.

⁴⁵And when Jobab was dead, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.

⁵¹¶ Hadad died also. And the dukes of Edom were; duke Timnah, duke Aliah, duke Jetheth,

⁵²Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,

⁵³Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,

⁵⁴Duke Magdiel, duke Iram. These are the dukes of Edom.

¹²But I will send a fire upon Teman, which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.

¹⁵Then the dukes of Edom shall be amazed; the mighty men of Moab, trembling shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt away.

¹³Therefore thus saith the Lord God; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword.

¹⁸¶ And these are the sons of Aholibamah Esau’s wife; duke Jeush, duke Jaalam, duke Korah: these were the dukes that came of Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau’s wife.

⁴And Adah bare to Esau Eliphaz; and Bashemath bare Reuel;

³God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.

²⁰Therefore hear the counsel of the Lord, that he hath taken against Edom; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitations desolate with them.

⁷¶ Concerning Edom, thus saith the Lord of hosts; Is wisdom no more in Teman? is counsel perished from the prudent? is their wisdom vanished?

⁸Their seed is established in their sight with them, and their offspring before their eyes.

¹THEN Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said,

³⁵I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.
