Job 28:25–26

⁷He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.

^7*Hee causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth, he maketh lightnings for the raine: he bringeth the winde out of his treasuries.

¹²¶ Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?

¹⁵Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up: also he sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth.

²⁵Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;

³He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.

³Hee directeth it vnder the whole heauen, and his ^†lightning vnto the ^†ends of the earth.

¹ASK ye of the Lord rain in the time of the latter rain; so the Lord shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.

¹¶ ^‖Aske yee of the LORD raine in the time of the latter raine, so the LORD shal make bright clouds, and giue them showres of raine, to euery one grasse in the field.

⁷And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.

⁷And also I haue withholden the raine from you, when there were yet three moneths to the haruest, and I caused it to raine vpon one citie, and caused it not to raine vpon an other city: one piece was rained vpon, & the piece wherupon it rained not, withered.

²²Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? art not thou he, O Lord our God? therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made all these things.

²⁷To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?

⁸Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

³The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters.

⁴The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

⁵The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars; yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

⁶He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

⁷The voice of the Lord divideth the flames of fire.

⁸The voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness; the Lord shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

⁹The voice of the Lord maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.

¹⁰The Lord sitteth upon the flood; yea, the Lord sitteth King for ever.

^3‖The voice of the LORD is vpon the waters: the God of glory thundreth, the LORD is vpon many waters.

^4††The voice of the LORD is powerfull; the voyce of the LORD is full of Maiestie.

⁵The voyce of the LORD breaketh the Cedars: yea, the LORD breaketh the Cedars of Lebanon.

^6*He maketh them also to skip like a calfe: Lebanon, and Sirion like a yong Unicorne.

^7†The voyce of the LORD diuideth the flames of fire.

^8‖The voyce of the LORD shaketh the wildernes: the LORD shaketh the wildernesse of Kadesh.

^9‖The voice of the LORD maketh the hindes to calue, and discouereth the forrests: and in his Temple doeth euery one speake of his glory.
