John 13:15–16

⁶He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

⁶He that sayeth he abideth in him, ought himselfe also so to walke, euen as he walked.

²⁹Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

²⁹Take my yoke vpon you, and learne of me, for I am meeke and lowly in heart: ^*and yee shall find rest vnto your soules.

²¹For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

²¹For euen hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for ^†vs, leauing vs an example, that yee should follow his steps.

¹⁷For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.

¹⁸For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

¹⁷For it is better, if the will of God be so, that yee suffer for well doing, then for euill doing.

¹⁸For Christ also hath once suffered for sinnes, the iust for the vniust, that he might bring vs to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit.

²And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

²And walke in loue, as Christ also hath loued vs, and hath giuen himselfe for vs, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling sauour;

⁵Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:

^5*‖Now the God of patience and consolation graunt you to be like minded one towards another, according to Christ Iesus:

²⁰Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

^20*Remember the word that I said vnto you, The seruant is not greater then the Lord: if they haue persecuted me, they will also persecute you: if they haue kept my saying, they will keepe yours also.

⁴⁰The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.

^40*The disciple is not aboue his master: but euery one ^‖that is perfect shalbe as his master.

²⁴The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.

²⁵It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

^24*The disciple is not aboue his master, nor the seruant aboue his lord.

²⁵It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the seruant as his Lord: If they haue called the Master of the house of Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

⁵Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

⁵Iesus answered, Uerily, verily I say vnto thee, except a man be borne of water and of the spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdome of God.

³Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

³Iesus answered, and said vnto him, Uerily, verily I say vnto thee, except a man be borne ^‖againe, he cannot see the kingdome of God.
