John 3:18–20

¹⁰He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

¹⁰Hee that beleeueth on the Sonne of God, hath the witnesse in himselfe: he that beleeueth not God, hath made him a liar, because he beleeueth not the record that God gaue of his Sonne.

¹⁶He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

¹⁶He that beleeueth and is baptized, shalbe saued, ^*but he that beleeueth not, shall be damned.

¹THERE is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

²⁴Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

¹²He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

³⁶He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

¹THEREFORE being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

¹¶ Therefore being iustified by faith, wee haue peace with God, through our Lord Iesus Christ.

⁹In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

⁹In this was manifested the loue of God towards vs, because that God sent his only begotten Sonne into the world, that we might liue through him.

³¹But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

⁴⁰And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

⁴⁷Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

³⁴Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

¹⁸No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

³How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

²⁵See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

¹²¶ Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

¹²That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

³⁹¶ And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

⁴⁰And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?

⁴¹Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

³⁹¶ And Iesus said, For iudgment I am come into this world, that they which see not, might see, and that they which see, might be made blind.

⁴⁰And some of the Pharisees which were with him, heard these words, and saide vnto him, Are wee blinde also?

⁴¹Iesus saide vnto them, If yee were blind, ye should haue no sinne: but now ye say, We see, therfore your sinne remaineth.

⁸But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

⁴³For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

⁴⁴How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?

^44*How can ye beleeue, which receiue honour one of another, & seeke not the honour that commeth from God onely?

³²Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

³²Who knowing the iudgement of God, (that they which commit such things, are worthy of death) not onely do the same, but ^‖haue pleasure in them that doe them.

³Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

²²If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.

²⁵But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.

²³He that hateth me, hateth my Father also.

²⁵But this commeth to passe, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, ^*They hated me without a cause.

⁴⁷And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.

¹²Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

¹³But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

⁸And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

²²And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge of that way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter.

²³And he commanded a centurion to keep Paul, and to let him have liberty, and that he should forbid none of his acquaintance to minister or come unto him.

²⁴And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.

²⁵And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.

²⁶He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.

²¹Except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, ^*Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day.

²⁶He hoped also that money should haue bene giuen him of Paul, that hee might loose him: wherefore hee sent for him the oftner, and cōmuned with him.

⁹That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

¹⁰He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

¹¹He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

⁹ That was the true light, which lighteth euery man that commeth into the world.

¹⁰Hee was in the world, and ^*the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

²⁶But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

²⁷My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

²⁶But ye beleeue not, because ye are not of my sheepe, as I said vnto you.

²⁷My sheepe heare my voyce, and I know them, and they follow me.

⁷The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.

⁷The world cannot hate you, but me it hateth, because I testifie of it, that the workes thereof are euill.

⁴⁴Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

⁴⁵And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

^44*Ye are of your father the deuill, and the lusts of your father ye will doe: hee was a murtherer from the beginning, and abode not in the trueth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his owne: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

⁴⁵And because I tell you the truth, ye beleeue me not.

¹¹Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

¹²But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.

¹³Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.

¹⁴But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.

⁹That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord:

¹⁰Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:

¹¹Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.

¹²Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:

⁹That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not heare the Law of the LORD:

¹⁰Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophecie not vnto vs right things: speake vnto vs smooth things, prophecie deceits.

¹¹Get ye out of the way: turne aside out of the path: cause the Holy one of Israel to cease from before vs.

^12‖Wherefore, thus saith the Holy one of Israel: Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and peruersnesse, and stay thereon:

¹⁵For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:

¹⁶To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?

¹⁵For wee are vnto God, a sweet sauour of Christ, in them that are saued, and in them that perish.

¹⁶To the one wee are the sauour of death vnto death; and to the other, the sauour of life vnto life: and who is sufficient for these things?

¹⁷If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

¹⁴And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.

¹³But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

⁷The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.

¹⁶In the dark they dig through houses, which they had marked for themselves in the daytime: they know not the light.

¹⁷For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death: if one know them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death.

²³For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

²⁴For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

²⁵But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

²³For if any be a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like vnto a man beholding his naturall face in a glasse:

²⁴For hee beholdeth himselfe, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what maner of man he was.

²⁵But who so looketh into the perfect Law of libertie, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetfull hearer, but a doer of the worke, this man shall be blessed in his ^‖deed.

⁸And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may inquire of the Lord: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.
