Leviticus 19:35–37

¹³¶ Thou shalt not have in thy bag divers weights, a great and a small.

¹³¶ Thou shalt not haue in thy bagge ^†diuers weights, a great, and a small.

¹⁵But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

¹⁵ But thou shalt haue a perfect and iust weight, a perfect and iust measure shalt thou haue: that thy dayes may bee lengthened in the land which the LORD thy God giueth thee.

¹²In thee have they taken gifts to shed blood; thou hast taken usury and increase, and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbours by extortion, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord God.

¹³¶ Behold, therefore I have smitten mine hand at thy dishonest gain which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of thee.

¹⁵¶ Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

¹⁵¶ Ye shall doe no vnrighteousnes in iudgement; thou shalt not ^*respect the person of the poore, nor honour the person of the mightie: but in righteousnesse shalt thou iudge thy neighbour.

²For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

²For with what iudgment ye iudge, yee shall be iudged: ^*and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you againe.

¹HEAR ye now what the Lord saith; Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice.

¹A FALSE balance is abomination to the Lord: but a just weight is his delight.

¹¶ ^*††A false ballance is abomination to the LORD: but a iust weight is his delight.

¹¹A just weight and balance are the Lord’s: all the weights of the bag are his work.

^11*†A iust weight and ballance are the LORDs: all the weights of the bagge are his worke.

¹⁰Divers weights, and divers measures, both of them are alike abomination to the Lord.

⁵Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?

⁶That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat?

⁵Saying, When will the ^‖newe Moone be gone, that we may sell corne? and the Sabbath, that wee may ^†set forth wheat, making the Ephah small, and the shekel great, and ^†falsifying the balances by deceit?

⁶That wee may ^*buy the poore for siluer, & the needie for a paire of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheate?

²I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

¹ALL the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers.

¹¶ All the commaundements which I commaund thee this day, shall yee obserue to doe, that yee may liue, and multiply, and goe in, and possesse the land which the LORD sware vnto your fathers.

⁴Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the Lord your God.

⁵Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the Lord.

⁴Ye shall doe my iudgements, and keepe mine ordinances, to walke therein: I am the LORD your God.

^5*Yee shall therefore keepe my statutes, and my iudgements: which if a man doe, hee shall liue in them: I am the LORD.

²²And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

²³And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

¹AND Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them.

¹¶ And Moses called all Israel, and sayd vnto them, Heare, O Israel, the Statutes and Iudgements which I speake in your eares this day, that ye may learne them, and ^†keepe and doe them.

³⁴Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

³⁴Giue me vnderstanding, and I shall keepe thy Law: yea I shall obserue it with my whole heart.

¹NOW therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the Lord God of your fathers giveth you.

²Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.

¹¶ Nowe therefore hearken, O Israel, vnto the Statutes, and vnto the Iudgments which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may liue, and goe in and possesse the lande, which the LORD God of your fathers giueth you.

^2*Ye shall not adde vnto the word which I command you, neither shall you diminish ought from it, that ye may keepe the Commaundements of the LORD your God, which I command you.

⁵Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the Lord my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it.

⁶Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.

⁵Behold, I haue taught you Statutes, and Iudgements, euen as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so, in the land whither ye goe to possesse it.

⁶Keepe therefore, and doe them; for this is your wisedome and your vnderstanding in the sight of the nations, which shall heare all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and vnderstanding people.

¹NOW these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the Lord your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:

²That thou mightest fear the Lord thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.

¹¶ Now these are the Commaundements, the Statutes, & the Iudgements, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might doe them in the land whither ye ^†goe to possesse it:

²That thou mightest feare the LORD thy God, to keepe all his Statutes, and his Commandements which I command thee; thou, and thy sonne, and thy sonnes sonne, all the dayes of thy life: and that thy dayes may be prolonged.

⁴Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.
