Leviticus 24:5–6

³⁰And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me alway.

³¹And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of the Lord came, saying, Israel shall be thy name:

⁴And the priest answered David, and said, There is no common bread under mine hand, but there is hallowed bread; if the young men have kept themselves at least from women.

⁵And David answered the priest, and said unto him, Of a truth women have been kept from us about these three days, since I came out, and the vessels of the young men are holy, and the bread is in a manner common, yea, though it were sanctified this day in the vessel.

⁴And the Priest answered Dauid, and said, There is no common bread vnder mine hand, but there is ^*hallowed bread: if the young men haue kept themselues at least from women.

⁵And Dauid answered the Priest, and said vnto him, Of a trueth women haue beene kept from vs about these three dayes, since I came out, and the vessels of the young men are holy, and the bread is in a manner common, ^‖yea, though it were sanctified this day in the vessell.

²³And he set the bread in order upon it before the Lord; as the Lord had commanded Moses.

⁴How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?

¹¹And they burn unto the Lord every morning and every evening burnt sacrifices and sweet incense: the shewbread also set they in order upon the pure table; and the candlestick of gold with the lamps thereof, to burn every evening: for we keep the charge of the Lord our God; but ye have forsaken him.

¹⁹¶ And Solomon made all the vessels that were for the house of God, the golden altar also, and the tables whereon the shewbread was set;

¹³And he cast for it four rings of gold, and put the rings upon the four corners that were in the four feet thereof.

¹⁵And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold, to bear the table.

¹⁶And he made the vessels which were upon the table, his dishes, and his spoons, and his bowls, and his covers to cover withal, of pure gold.

¹⁰¶ And hee made the Table of Shittim wood: two cubites was the length thereof, and a cubite the breadth thereof, and a cubite and a halfe the height thereof.

¹¹And he ouerlaid it with pure gold, and made thereunto a crowne of gold round about.

¹²Also he made thereunto a border of an handbreadth, round about: and made a crowne of gold for the border thereof round about.

¹³And hee cast for it foure rings of gold, and put the rings vpon the foure corners that were in the foure feete thereof.

¹⁴Ouer against the border were the rings, the places for the staues, to beare the Table.

¹⁶And hee made the vessels which were vpon the Table, his ^*dishes, and his spoones, and his bowles, and his couers ^‖to couer withall, of pure gold.
