Matthew 1:13

^1:1THE book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

^1:1¶ The booke of the ^*generation of Iesus Christ, the sonne of Dauid, the sonne of Abraham.

^1:2Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;

^1:2*Abraham begate Isaac, and ^*Isaac begate Iacob, and ^*Iacob begate Iudas and his brethren.

^1:3And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;

^1:3And ^*Iudas begate Phares and Zara of Thamar, and ^*Phares begate Esrom, and Esrom begate Aram.

^1:4And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;

^1:4And Aram begate Aminadab, and Aminadab begate Naasson, and Naasson begate Salmon.

^1:5And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;

^1:5And Salmon begat Boos of Rachab, and Boos begate Obed of Ruth, and Obed begate Iesse.

^1:6And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;

^1:6And ^*Iesse begate Dauid the King, & ^*Dauid the King begat Solomon of her that had bin the wife of Urias.

^1:7And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;

^1:7And ^*Solomon begat Roboam, and Roboam begate Abia, and Abia begate Asa.

^1:8And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;

^1:8And Asa begate Iosaphat, and Iosaphat begate Ioram, and Ioram begate Ozias.

^1:9And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias;

^1:9And Ozias begat Ioatham, and Ioatham begate Achas, and Achas begate Ezekias.

^1:10And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;

^1:10And ^*Ezekias begate Manasses, and Manasses begate Amon, and Amon begate Iosias.

^1:11And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:

^1:11And ^†Iosias begate Iechonias and his brethren, about the time they were caried away to Babylon.

^1:12And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;

^1:12And after they were brought to Babylon, ^*Iechonias begat Salathiel, and Salathiel begate Zorobabel.

^1:14And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;

^1:14And Azor begat Sadoc, & Sadoc begat Achim, and Achim begat Eliud.

^1:15And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;

^1:15And Eliud begate Eleazar, and Eleazar begate Matthan, and Matthan begate Iacob.

^1:16And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

^1:16And Iacob begate Ioseph the husband of Mary, of whom was borne Iesus, who is called Christ.

^1:17So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.

^1:17So all the generations from Abraham to Dauid, are fourteene generations: and from Dauid vntill the carying away into Babylon, are foureteene generations: and from the carying away into Babylon vnto Christ, are fourteene generations.
