Psalms 112:1–3

¹BLESSED is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways.

¹¶ Blessed is euery one that feareth the LORD: that walketh in his wayes.

⁵⁰And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.

⁵⁰And his mercy is on them that feare him, from generation to generation.

¹⁰¶ Who is among you that feareth the Lord, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the Lord, and stay upon his God.

¹⁰¶ Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voyce of his seruant, that walketh in darkenesse and hath no light? let him trust in the Name of the LORD, and stay vpon his God.

⁴⁷And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.

⁴⁸My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.

⁴⁷And I will delight my selfe in thy commandements, which I haue loued.

⁴⁸My hands also will I lift vp vnto thy commandements, which I haue loued: and I will meditate in thy statutes.

³⁵Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.

⁷They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.

⁸They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.

⁹O Israel, trust thou in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.

¹⁰O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.

¹¹Ye that fear the Lord, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.

¹²The Lord hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.

¹³He will bless them that fear the Lord, both small and great.

⁷They haue hands, but they handle not, feete haue they, but they walke not: neither speake they through their throat.

⁸They that make them are like vnto them: so is euery one that trusteth in them.

⁹O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he is their helpe and their shield.

¹⁰O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he is their helpe & their shield.

¹¹Ye that feare the LORD trust in the LORD: he is their helpe and their shield.

¹²The LORD hath bene mindfull of vs, he will blesse vs, he will blesse the house of Israel: he will blesse the house of Aaron.

^13†Hee will blesse them that feare the LORD: both small and great.

¹⁰The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

^10*‖†The feare of the LORD is the beginning of wisedome, a good vnderstanding haue all they that doe his commandements: his praise endureth for euer.

¹⁹He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

¹⁹Hee will fulfill the desire of them that feare him: he also will heare their cry, and will saue them.

¹PRAISE ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

¹⁴³Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet thy commandments are my delights.

^143†Trouble and anguish haue taken hold on me: yet thy commaundements are my delights.

⁹⁷O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.

⁹⁷¶ O How loue I thy Law! it is my meditation all the day.

¹PRAISE ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.

²²For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

¹BLESSED is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

²But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

¹¹Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:

¹³Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

¹⁴He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the Lord.

¹¹Kings of the earth, and all people: Princes, and all Iudges of the earth.

¹²Both young men and maidens: olde men and children.

^13†Let them praise the Name of the LORD, for his Name alone is excellent: his glory is aboue the earth and heauen.

¹⁴Hee also exalteth the horne of his people, the praise of all his Saints; euen of the children of Israel, a people neere vnto him. Praise ye the LORD.

⁸I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

^8†I delight to doe thy will, O my God: yea thy lawe is within my heart.

¹PRAISE ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

¹¶ ^†Praise yee the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart: in the assembly of the vpright, and in the Congregation.

⁶For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

⁶For to ^†be carnally minded, is death: but ^†to be spiritually minded, is life and peace:

¹⁴I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.

¹⁴I haue reioyced in the way of thy testimonies: as much as in all riches.

¹⁶I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

¹⁶I will delight my selfe in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

⁷⁰Their heart is as fat as grease; but I delight in thy law.

⁷¹It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.

⁷²The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.

⁷And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

⁷And I will establish my couenant betweene me and thee, and thy seede after thee, in their generations for an euerlasting couenant, to bee a God vnto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

⁷The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.

²⁶He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.

^26† He is euer mercifull, and lendeth: and his seede is blessed.

³⁹For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

¹³His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.

³⁹And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:

²⁸The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee.

¹⁷That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

¹⁸And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

¹⁷That in blessing I will blesse thee, and in multiplying, I will multiply thy seed as the starres of the heauen, and as the sand which is vpon the sea ^†shore, and thy seed shall possesse the gate of his enemies.

^18*And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because thou hast obeyed my voice.

⁶In the house of the righteous is much treasure: but in the revenues of the wicked is trouble.

¹⁶Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.

¹⁶Length of dayes is in her right hand: and in her left hand, riches and honour.

³³But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

⁶And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the Lord is his treasure.

¹⁸But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.

¹⁹But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

⁹He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

⁶But godliness with contentment is great gain.

⁷For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

⁸And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

¹⁰As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

¹⁷And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

⁸For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.

²²And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

²³Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

²⁴For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

²²And except those dayes should be shortned, there should no flesh be saued: but for the elects sake, those dayes shall be shortned.

^23*Then if any man shall say vnto you, Loe, heere is Christ, or there: beleeue it not.

²⁴For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shal shew great signes and wonders: insomuch that (if it were possible,) they shall deceiue the very elect.
