Psalms 119:128–129

¹⁰⁴Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

²²For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

⁷The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

⁸The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.

⁵Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

⁶Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.

⁶Then shall I not bee ashamed: when I haue respect vnto all thy commandements.

⁸And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?

⁸And what nation is there so great, that hath Statutes and Iudgements so righteous, as all this Law which I set before you this day?

²⁷He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;

^27‖He looketh vpon men, and if any say, I haue sinned, and peruerted that which was right, and it profited mee not:

¹⁶If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.

¹⁶If then I doe that which I would not, I consent vnto the Law, that it is good.

¹¹⁸Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood.

¹²Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

¹⁴For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

⁶Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

¹⁰All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

¹O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

¹⁸Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.

¹⁴⁶I cried unto thee; save me, and I shall keep thy testimonies.

^146‖I cried vnto thee, saue me: and I shall keepe thy testimonies.

²Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

³¹I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O Lord, put me not to shame.

⁶For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

^6*For vnto vs a child is borne, vnto vs a Sonne is giuen, and the gouernment shalbe vpon his shoulder: and his name shalbe called, Wonderfull, Counseller, The mightie God, The euerlasting Father, The Prince of peace.

¹⁰And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

¹⁰And I fell at his feete to worship him: And he said vnto me, ^*See thou doe it not: I am thy fellow seruant, and of thy brethren, that haue the testimonie of Iesus, Worship God: for the testimony of Iesus, is the spirit of prophecie.
