Psalms 119:14–16

⁴⁴¶ Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

⁴⁴¶ Againe, the kingdome of heauen is like vnto treasure hid in a field: the which when a man hath found, hee hideth, and for ioy thereof goeth and selleth all that hee hath, and buyeth that field.

¹⁶Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.

¹PRAISE ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

⁹The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.

¹⁰More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

¹²Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.

⁴¹¶ Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

⁴²And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

⁴³And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

⁴⁴And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

⁴⁵And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

⁴⁶And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

⁴⁷Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

⁴¹¶ Then they that gladly receiued his word, were baptized: and the same day there were added vnto them about three thousand soules.

⁴²And they continued stedfastly in the Apostles doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in praiers.

⁴³And feare came vpon euery soule: and many wonders and signes were done by the Apostles.

⁴⁴And all that beleeued were together, and had all things common,

⁴⁵And solde their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as euery man had need.

⁴⁶And they continuing daily with one accord in the Temple, and breaking bread ^‖from house to house, did eat their meat with gladnesse and singlenesse of heart,

⁴⁷Praising God, and hauing fauour with all the people. And the Lord added to the Church dayly such as should be saued.

⁴⁷And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.

⁴⁷And I will delight my selfe in thy commandements, which I haue loued.

²⁵But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

²But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

¹MY son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

¹⁶This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

²³For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

²⁴For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
