Psalms 119:141–142

⁶But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

⁶But I am a worme, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

⁹For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

⁹For yee know the grace of our Lord Iesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poore, that yee through his pouertie might be rich.

⁵Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?

²⁰¶ And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.

⁵⁸And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

¹⁶Better is little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble therewith.

^16*Better is little with the feare of the LORD, then great treasure, and trouble therewith.

⁸Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.

^8*Better is a little with righteousnesse, then great reuenewes without right.

¹MY son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

¹¶ My sonne, forget not my lawe; ^*but let thine heart keepe my commaundements:

¹⁰⁹My soul is continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law.

¹⁰⁹My soule is continually in my hand: yet doe I not forget thy Law.

¹⁷But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.

³He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

¹BETTER is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.

¹¶ ^*Better is the poore that walketh in his integrity, then he that is peruerse in his lippes, and is a foole.

¹⁷⁶I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.

¹⁷⁶I haue gone astray like a lost sheepe, seeke thy seruant: for I doe not forget thy commandements.

⁹The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.

^9†The feare of the LORD is cleane, enduring for euer: the Iudgements of the LORD are true, and righteous altogether.

¹⁷Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

¹⁷Sanctifie them through thy trueth: thy word is trueth.

¹⁵¹Thou art near, O Lord; and all thy commandments are truth.

¹⁵¹Thou art neere, O LORD: and all thy commandements are trueth.

⁸For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.

⁶Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

¹⁴⁴The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.

²¹If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

⁶Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O Lord, thou preservest man and beast.

⁶Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

⁷And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

⁸In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

⁹Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

¹⁰When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

⁶Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompence tribulation to them that trouble you:

⁷And to you who are troubled, rest with vs, when the Lord Iesus shalbe reuealed from heauen, ^†with his mightie Angels,

⁸In flaming fire, ^‖taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the Gospel of our Lorde Iesus Christ,

⁹Who shalbe punished with euerlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power:

¹⁰When hee shall come to bee glorified in his Saints, and to bee admired in all them that beleeue (because our testimony among you was beleeued) in that day.

²⁴Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
