Psalms 119:6–7

²⁸And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

²⁶For then shalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face unto God.

¹⁴Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

³And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

¹⁵For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.

¹⁶O Lord our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee an house for thine holy name cometh of thine hand, and is all thine own.

¹⁷I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.

¹³Now therefore, our God, wee thanke thee, and praise thy glorious Name.

¹⁴But who am I, and what is my people, that we should ^†be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of ^†thine owne haue we giuen thee.

¹⁵For we are strangers before thee, and soiourners, as were all our fathers: ^*Our dayes on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none ^†abiding.

¹⁷Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.

⁸Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.

¹⁰All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

³³Teach me, O Lord, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.

³⁴Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

³⁴Giue me vnderstanding, and I shall keepe thy Law: yea I shall obserue it with my whole heart.

²⁷Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.

⁷³Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.

¹³For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.
