Psalms 119:80–81

¹⁶¶ This day the Lord thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and judgments: thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

²O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.

²My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

⁴⁰Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.

⁴²So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.

⁷⁴They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.

¹AS the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.

²My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?
