Psalms 119:89–91

²⁵But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

³⁴Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

³⁵Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

³⁴Uerely I say vnto you, this generation shall not passe, till all these things be fulfilled.

^35*Heauen and earth shall passe away, but my wordes shall not passe away.

¹⁸For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

¹⁸For verily I say vnto you, ^*Till heauen and earth passe, one iote or one title, shall in no wise passe from the law, till all be fulfilled.

¹⁶⁰Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.

¹THE Lord reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the Lord is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

¹¶ The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with Maiestie, the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith hee hath girded himselfe: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moued.

¹I WILL sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.

²For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.

⁹Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

⁵Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.

¹¹The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.

⁵For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

⁶Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

⁷But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

⁵For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heauens were of olde, and the earth ^†standing out of the water, and in the water,

⁶Whereby the world that then was, being ouerflowed with water, perished.

⁷But the heauens and the earth which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserued vnto fire against the day of Iudgement, and perdition of vngodly men.

⁴Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.

⁵Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?

⁶Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;

⁷When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

^4*Where wast thou when I layd the foundations of the earth? declare, ^†if thou hast vnderstanding.

⁵Who hath layd the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line vpon it?

⁶Wherepuon are the ^†foundations thereof ^†fastened? or who layd the corner stone thereof?

⁷When the morning starres sang together, and all the sonnes of God shouted for ioy.

⁴One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.

⁴⁵That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

¹⁹And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the Lord thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.

¹⁹And lest thou lift vp thine eyes vnto heauen, and when thou seest the sun, and the moone, and the starres, euen all the hoste of heauen, shouldest be driuen to worship them, and serue them, which the LORD thy God hath ^‖diuided vnto all nations vnder the whole heauen.

¹²¶ Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.

¹³And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

¹²¶ Then spake Ioshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD deliuered vp the Amorites before the children of Israel, and hee said in the sight of Israel, ^*Sunne, ^†stand thou still vpon Gibeon, and thou Moone in the valley of Aialon.

¹³And the Sunne stood still, and the Moone stayed, vntill the people had auenged themselues vpon their enemies. Is not this written in the booke of ^‖Iasher? So the Sunne stood still in the midst of heauen, and hasted not to goe downe, about a whole day.
