Psalms 22:17–19

³⁵And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.

²¹His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out.

¹⁴As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:

²⁷¶ And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him.

³⁹¶ And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads,

⁴⁰And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.

⁴¹Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said,

²⁹And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days,

³⁰Save thyself, and come down from the cross.

³¹Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save.

³²Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.

³For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth.

⁴My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread.

⁵By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin.

³⁶And sitting down they watched him there;

³⁵And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.

³⁴¶ Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

²³¶ Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.

²⁴They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.

²⁴And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take.

¹¹Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.

¹³Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me: O Lord, make haste to help me.

¹⁷But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.

¹WHY standest thou afar off, O Lord? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?

¹THE king shall joy in thy strength, O Lord; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

¹I WILL love thee, O Lord, my strength.

⁵But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O Lord, make no tarrying.

¹³But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O Lord, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.

¹⁴Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.

¹⁵Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

¹⁶Hear me, O Lord; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.

¹⁷And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.

¹⁸Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies.
