Psalms 30:2–3

⁵Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the Lord.

³Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

⁴Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

³He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

²Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed.

²Haue mercy vpon me, O LORD, for I am weake: O LORD heale mee, for my bones are vexed.

²⁶And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.

²⁶And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt doe that which is right in his sight, and wilt giue eare to his Commandements, and keepe all his Statutes, I will put none of these diseases vpon thee, which I haue brought vpon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

¹⁷¶ So Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bare children.

¹⁴Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

¹⁵And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

¹⁵And the prayer of Faith shall saue the sicke, and the Lord shall raise him vp: and if hee haue committed sinnes, they shall be forgiuen him.

¹³But unto thee have I cried, O Lord; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent thee.

¹³But vnto thee haue I cried, O LORD, and in the morning shall my prayer preuent thee.

⁸Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.

⁸Make mee to heare ioy and gladnesse: that the bones which thou hast broken, may reioyce.

¹⁷Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.

¹⁸Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.

¹⁹Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.

²⁰He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

²¹Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

²²And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.

^18*Their soule abhorreth all manner of meate: and they drawe neere vnto the gates of death.

¹⁹Then they crie vnto the LORD in their trouble: he saueth them out of their distresses.

²⁰Hee sent his word, and healed them: and deliuered them from their destructions.

²¹Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodnesse: and for his wonderfull workes, to the children of men.

^22†And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thankesgiuing: and declare his workes with reioycing.

¹⁸The Lord hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.

¹⁰For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

¹³For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.

¹⁷Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.

¹⁸For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth.

^17‖†Behold, for peace I had great bitternesse, but thou hast in loue to my soule deliuered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sinnes behinde thy backe.

¹⁸For the graue cannot praise thee, death cannot celebrate thee: they that goe downe into the pit cannot hope for thy trueth.

⁴Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.

⁵The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head.

⁶I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O Lord my God.

⁴Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will looke againe toward thy holy Temple.

^5*The waters compassed mee about euen to the soule; the depth closed mee round about; the weedes were wrapt about my head.

^6†‖I went downe to the bottomes of the mountaines: the earth with her barres was about me for euer: yet hast thou brought vp my life from corruption, O LORD my God.

¹UNTO thee will I cry, O Lord my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

¹¶ Vnto thee will I cry, O LORD, my rocke, be not silent to mee: lest if thou be silent to me, I become like them that goe downe into the pit.

¹I WAITED patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

²He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

¹¶ I waited patiently for the LORD, and he inclined vnto me, and heard my crie.

²⁰Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

¹⁹He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:

²⁰So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat.

²¹His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out.

²²Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.

¹⁹Hee is chastened also with paine vpon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong paine.

^20*So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soule ^†daintie meate.

²¹His flesh is consumed away that it cannot be seene; and his bones that were not seene, sticke out.

²²His soule draweth neere vnto the graue, and his life to the destroyers.

²⁸He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.

^28‖Hee will deliuer his soule from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.

⁸For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

⁸For thou hast deliuered my soule from death, mine eyes from teares, and my feete from falling.

¹³For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?

¹³For thou hast deliuered my soule from death: wilt not thou deliuer my feet from falling? that I may walke before God in the light of the liuing.
