Words in this verse

Meaning in this verse uses an occurrence-specific reviewed sense where one is available; otherwise it is explicitly identified as the reviewed combined meaning. Historical English definitions, original-language definitions, word families, and usage remain separately labeled so editorial synthesis is never presented as source transcription. These aids are not doctrinal authorities or replacements for Scripture. Reviewed sources include Cawdrey (1604), Bullokar (1616), Webster (1828), Skeat (1893), and KJV usage in the PCE and aligned 1611 text.
