Luke 6:35–36

⁴⁴But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

⁴⁵That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

⁴⁴But I say vnto you, ^*Loue your enemies, blesse them that curse you, doe good to them that hate you, and ^*pray for them which despitefully vse you, and persecute you:

⁴⁵That yee may be the children of your father which is in heauen: for he maketh his sunne to rise on the euill and on the good, and sendeth raine on the iust, and on the vniust.

³⁵By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

¹⁷He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.

^17*‖Hee that hath pity vpon the poore, lendeth vnto the LORD; and that which he hath giuen, will he pay him againe.

⁸But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

⁹Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

¹⁰For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

⁸But God commendeth his loue towards vs, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for vs.

⁹Much more then being now iustified by his blood, we shalbe saued from wrath through him.

¹⁰For if when wee were enemies, we were reconciled to God, by the death of his sonne: much more being reconciled, we shalbe saued by his life.

⁹The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

⁹The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are ouer all his workes.

⁹For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

⁹For yee know the grace of our Lord Iesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poore, that yee through his pouertie might be rich.

³⁵¶ And if thy brother be waxen poor, and fallen in decay with thee; then thou shalt relieve him: yea, though he be a stranger, or a sojourner; that he may live with thee.

³⁶Take thou no usury of him, or increase: but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee.

³⁷Thou shalt not give him thy money upon usury, nor lend him thy victuals for increase.

³⁵¶ And if thy brother bee waxen poore, and ^†fallen in decay with thee, then thou shalt ^†relieue him, yea though he be a stranger, or a soiourner, that hee may liue with thee.

^36*Take thou no vsurie of him, or increase: but feare thy God, that thy brother may liue with thee.

³⁷Thou shalt not giue him thy money vpon vsurie, nor lend him thy victuals for increase.

⁹He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor.

^9*†Hee that hath a bountifull eye, shall bee blessed: for hee giueth of his bread to the poore.

⁵A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

⁷Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

⁸He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

⁹In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

¹⁰Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

¹¹Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

⁷Beloued, let vs loue one another; for loue is of God: and euery one that loueth, is borne of God and knoweth God.

⁸Hee that loueth not, knoweth not God: for God is loue.

⁹In this was manifested the loue of God towards vs, because that God sent his only begotten Sonne into the world, that we might liue through him.

¹⁰Herein is loue, not that wee loued God, but that he loued vs, and sent his Sonne to be y ^e propitiation for our sins.

¹¹Beloued, if God so loued vs, wee ought also to loue one another.

²⁶He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.

^26† He is euer mercifull, and lendeth: and his seede is blessed.

⁸Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

¹⁰In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

¹¹For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

¹²Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.

¹³Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

¹⁴We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

¹⁰In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the deuill: whosoeuer doeth not righteousnesse, is not of God, neither hee that loueth not his brother.

¹¹For this is the ^‖message that yee heard from the beginning, that wee should loue one another.

¹²Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slewe his brother: and wherefore slewe hee him? because his owne workes were euill, and his brothers righteous.

¹³Marueile not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

¹⁴Wee know that wee haue passed from death vnto life, because wee loue the brethren: he that loueth not his brother, abideth in death.

¹⁷Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

¹⁷Neuerthelesse, he left not himselfe without witnesse, in that he did good, and gaue vs raine from heauen, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladnesse.

³²He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

³²He shall be great, and shall be called the sonne of the Highest, and the Lord God shall giue vnto him the throne of his father Dauid.

²⁷¶ But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,

²⁸Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

²⁹And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also.

³⁰Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.

³¹And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

²⁷¶ ^*But I say vnto you which heare, Loue your enemies, doe good to them which hate you,

²⁸Blesse them that curse you, & pray for them which despitefully vse you.

^29*And vnto him that smiteth thee on the one cheeke, offer also the other: ^*and him that taketh away thy cloake, forbid not to take thy coat also.

³⁰Giue to euery man that asketh of thee, and of him that taketh away thy goods, aske them not againe.

^31*And as yee would that men should doe to you, doe yee also to them likewise.

⁷And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.

⁷And cried with a lowd voice, and said, What haue I to doe with thee, Iesus, thou Sonne of the most high God? I adiure thee by God, that thou torment me not.

¹BE ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

²And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

¹¶ Be ye therefore followers of God, as deare children.

²And walke in loue, as Christ also hath loued vs, and hath giuen himselfe for vs, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling sauour;

⁴⁸Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

⁴⁸Be yee therefore perfect, euen as your father, which is in heauen, is perfect.

¹⁵But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

¹⁶Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

¹⁵But as hee which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all maner of conuersation;

¹⁶Because it is written, ^*Be ye holy, for I am holy.

³¹Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
