Psalms 119:164–165

⁶²At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.

⁶²At mid-night I will rise to giue thankes vnto thee: because of thy righteous iudgements.

¹⁷Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

⁸Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O Lord.

⁸Sion heard, and was glad, and the daughters of Iudah reioyced: because of thy iudgements, O LORD.

¹¹Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.

¹¹Let mount Sion reioyce, let the daughters of Iudah be glad, because of thy iudgements.

²For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.

¹MY son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

²For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

¹⁷And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

¹⁷And the worke of righteousnesse shalbe peace, and the effect of righteousnesse, quietnesse and assurance for euer.

³Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

^3†‖Thou wilt keepe him in perfect peace, whose minde is stayed on thee; because he trusteth in thee.

²⁷Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

⁷And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

²²But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

²³Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

⁶Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

⁷Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,

⁸And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

⁶Wherefore it is conteined in the Scripture, ^*Beholde, I lay in Sion a chiefe corner stone, elect, precious, and he that beleeueth on him, shall not be confounded.

²³Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.

¹⁰He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.

²¹There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

¹⁷Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.

¹⁴And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumblingblock out of the way of my people.

¹³Sanctify the Lord of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.

¹⁴And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

¹⁵And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.

¹³Sanctifie the LORD of hostes himselfe, and let him bee your feare, and let him be your dread.

^14*And he shalbe for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rocke of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a ginne, and for a snare to the inhabitants of Ierusalem.

^15*And many among them shall stumble and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.

²⁴For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
