Psalms 119:164–167

⁶²At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.

⁶²At mid-night I will rise to giue thankes vnto thee: because of thy righteous iudgements.

¹⁷Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

¹⁷Euening and morning, and at noone will I pray, and crie aloud: and he shall heare my voyce.

⁸Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O Lord.

⁸Sion heard, and was glad, and the daughters of Iudah reioyced: because of thy iudgements, O LORD.

¹¹Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.

¹¹Let mount Sion reioyce, let the daughters of Iudah be glad, because of thy iudgements.

²For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.

¹MY son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

²For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

¹¶ My sonne, forget not my lawe; ^*but let thine heart keepe my commaundements:

²For length of dayes, and ^†long life, and peace shall they adde to thee.

¹⁷And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

¹⁷And the worke of righteousnesse shalbe peace, and the effect of righteousnesse, quietnesse and assurance for euer.

³Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

^3†‖Thou wilt keepe him in perfect peace, whose minde is stayed on thee; because he trusteth in thee.

²⁷Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

²⁷Peace I leaue with you, my peace I giue vnto you, not as the world giueth, giue I vnto you: let not your heart bee troubled, neither let it bee afraid.

⁷And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

²²But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

²³Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

⁶Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

⁷Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,

⁸And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

⁶Wherefore it is conteined in the Scripture, ^*Beholde, I lay in Sion a chiefe corner stone, elect, precious, and he that beleeueth on him, shall not be confounded.

²³Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.

¹⁰He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.

²¹There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

¹⁷Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.

²¹Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

¹⁴And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumblingblock out of the way of my people.

¹³Sanctify the Lord of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.

¹⁴And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

¹⁵And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.

¹³Sanctifie the LORD of hostes himselfe, and let him bee your feare, and let him be your dread.

^14*And he shalbe for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rocke of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a ginne, and for a snare to the inhabitants of Ierusalem.

^15*And many among them shall stumble and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.

²⁴For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

¹⁸I have waited for thy salvation, O Lord.

⁸¹My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word.

³And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

⁴He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

³And hereby wee doe knowe that we know him, if we keepe his commandements.

⁴He that saith, I knowe him, and keepeth not his commandements, is a lyer, and the trueth is not in him.

¹⁷If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

⁵I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

⁶My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

⁷Let Israel hope in the Lord: for with the Lord there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.

²³Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.

^23†Who so offereth praise, glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conuersation aright, will I shew the saluation of God.

³Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?

⁴He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

⁵He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

⁵Hee shall receiue the blessing from the LORD, and righteousnesse from the God of his saluation.

⁵Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord.

¹⁶This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

⁸I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

²²For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

²¹He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

²²Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

²³Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

²⁴He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.

²¹He that hath my commandements, and keepeth them, hee it is that loueth me: and he that loueth me shall be loued of my Father, and I will loue him, and will manifest my selfe to him.

²²Iudas saith vnto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thy selfe vnto vs, and not vnto the world?

²³Iesus answered, and saide vnto him, If a man loue mee, he will keepe my wordes: and my Father will loue him, and wee will come vnto him, and make our abode with him.

²⁴He that loueth mee not, keepeth not my sayings, and the word which you heare, is not mine, but the Fathers which sent mee.

⁹As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

¹⁰If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

⁹As the Father hath loued me, so haue I loued you: continue ye in my loue.

¹⁰If ye keepe my Commandements, ye shal abide in my loue, euen as I haue kept my Fathers Commandements, and abide in his loue.

¹¹¹Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.

¹⁵⁹Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O Lord, according to thy lovingkindness.

⁹⁷O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.

⁶Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.

⁷I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.

⁸I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.

⁶Then shall I not bee ashamed: when I haue respect vnto all thy commandements.

⁷I will praise thee with vprightnesse of heart: when I shall haue learned ^†thy righteous iudgements.

⁸I will keepe thy statutes: O forsake me not vtterly.
