Psalms 119:25–33

⁶And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

²⁹Therefore now let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may continue for ever before thee: for thou, O Lord God, hast spoken it: and with thy blessing let the house of thy servant be blessed for ever.

²⁷For thou, O LORD of hostes, God of Israel, hast ^†reuealed to thy seruant, saying, I will build thee an house: therfore hath thy seruant found in his heart to pray this prayer vnto thee.

²⁸And now, O LORD GOD, (thou art that God, and ^*thy words be true, and thou hast promised this goodnesse vnto thy seruant.)

²⁹Therefore now ^†let it please thee to blesse the house of thy seruant, that it may continue for euer before thee: for thou, O LORD God, hast spoken it, and with thy blessing let the house of thy seruant be blessed for euer.

²⁵The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord.

¹⁵My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

⁸Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.

¹HAVE mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

²Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

³For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.

⁴Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

⁵Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

⁶Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

⁷Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

⁸Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.

⁹Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.

¹⁰Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

¹¹Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

¹²Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

¹³Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

¹⁴Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

¹⁵O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.

¹⁶For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.

¹⁷The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

¹⁸Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.

¹⁹Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.

⁴He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion.

¹⁴¶ And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the Lord brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:

¹⁵And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the Lord slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: therefore I sacrifice to the Lord all that openeth the matrix, being males; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem.

¹⁴¶ And it shalbe when thy sonne asketh thee ^†in time to come, saying, What is this? That thou shalt say vnto him; By strength of hand the LORD brought vs out from Egypt, from the house of bondage.

¹⁵And it came to passe when Pharaoh would hardly let vs goe, that the LORD slew all the first borne in the land of Egypt, both the first borne of man, and the first borne of beast: Therefore I sacrifice to the LORD all that openeth the matrix, being males: but all the first borne of my children I redeeme.

⁶That this may be a sign among you, that when your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean ye by these stones?

⁷Then ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.

⁶That this may be a signe among you, that when your children aske their fathers ^†in time to come, saying, What meane you by these stones?

⁷Then yee shall answere them, That the waters of Iordan were cut off before the Arke of the Couenant of the LORD, when it passed ouer Iordan, the waters of Iordan were cut off: and these stones shall bee for a memoriall vnto the children of Israel for euer.

¹³I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

¹¹And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the Lord your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath.

²Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;

²⁵Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be.

⁴He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

⁸If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

⁸If we say that we haue no sinne, we deceiue our selues, and the trueth is not in vs.

⁸Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:

¹¹And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

¹⁰For this is the Couenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those dayes, saith the Lord: ^*I wil ^†put my Lawes into their minde, and write them ^‖in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shalbe to me a people.

¹¹And they shall not teach euery man his neighbour, and euery man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: For all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

³Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

⁴Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.

¹⁹And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

²⁰For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

²¹But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

¹⁹And this is the condemnation, ^*that light is come into the world, and men loued darknesse rather then light, because their deedes were euill.

²⁰For euery one that doeth euill, hateth the light, neither commeth to the light, lest his deeds should be ^‖reproued.

²As new borne babes desire the sincere milke of the word, that ye may grow thereby,
