Psalms 119:48–49

¹⁵I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.

²¹¶ Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

²¹¶ Not euery one that saith vnto me, ^*Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdome of heauen: but he that doth the will of my father which is in heauen.

²But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

¹⁴Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

¹⁷If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.

¹²Because they ministered unto them before their idols, and caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquity; therefore have I lifted up mine hand against them, saith the Lord God, and they shall bear their iniquity.

²²But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

²³For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

²⁴For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

²⁵But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

²²But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers onely, deceiuing your owne selues.

²³For if any be a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like vnto a man beholding his naturall face in a glasse:

²⁴For hee beholdeth himselfe, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what maner of man he was.

²⁵But who so looketh into the perfect Law of libertie, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetfull hearer, but a doer of the worke, this man shall be blessed in his ^‖deed.

⁹Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off.

¹²Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.

²⁵And now, O Lord God, the word that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant, and concerning his house, establish it for ever, and do as thou hast said.

⁴⁵And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.

⁴Remember me, O Lord, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;

¹³Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

⁴²For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.

⁶I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence,

²Also in time past, when Saul was king over us, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the Lord said to thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be a captain over Israel.

⁹¶ And Jacob said, O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, the Lord which saidst unto me, Return unto thy country, and to thy kindred, and I will deal well with thee:

¹AND God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged;

⁷O remember that my life is wind: mine eye shall no more see good.

⁴³And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.

¹³Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

²¹Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
