Psalms 119:97–98

²But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

¹⁰¶ When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;

¹⁰¶ When wisedome entreth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant vnto thy soule;

¹⁵⁹Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O Lord, according to thy lovingkindness.

¹⁵⁹Consider how I loue thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy louing kindnesse.

⁸This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

¹⁹And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the Lord his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:

¹⁶⁷My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.

⁶And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

⁷And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

⁸And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.

⁹And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

⁶And ^*these words which I command thee this day, shall bee in thine heart.

⁷And thou shalt ^†teach them diligently vnto thy children, and shalt talke of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest downe, and when thou risest vp.

⁸And thou shalt binde them for a signe vpon thine hand, and they shalbe as frontlets betweene thine eyes.

⁹And thou shalt write them vpon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

¹²⁷Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.

¹⁶⁵Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

¹THROUGH desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.

¹¶ ^‖Through desire a man hauing separated himselfe, seeketh and intermedleth with all wisedome.

¹¹³I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love.

¹¹³¶ I hate vaine thoughts: but thy Law doe I loue.

⁶For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

¹⁶Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

²⁵But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

¹⁰⁴Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

¹⁰⁵Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

⁶Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.

¹¹Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

⁸And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?

⁸And what nation is there so great, that hath Statutes and Iudgements so righteous, as all this Law which I set before you this day?

³⁰I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.

³⁰I haue chosen the way of trueth: thy iudgements haue I laid before me.

¹⁴And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the Lord was with him.

¹⁴And Dauid ^‖behaued himselfe wisely in all his wayes; & the LORD was with him.

³⁰Then the princes of the Philistines went forth: and it came to pass, after they went forth, that David behaved himself more wisely than all the servants of Saul; so that his name was much set by.

³⁰Then the Princes of the Philistines went foorth: and it came to passe after they went foorth, that Dauid behaued himselfe more wisely then all the seruants of Saul, so that his name was ^†much set by.

⁵¶ And David went out whithersoever Saul sent him, and behaved himself wisely: and Saul set him over the men of war, and he was accepted in the sight of all the people, and also in the sight of Saul’s servants.

⁵¶ And Dauid went out, whither soeuer Saul sent him, and ^‖behaued himselfe wisely: and Saul set him ouer the men of warre, and he was accepted in the sight of all the people, and also in the sight of Sauls seruants.
