Psalms 13:4–6

²O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.

¹⁹And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the Lord, to deliver thee.

¹⁹And they shall fight against thee, but they shall not preuaile against thee: for I am with thee, sayth the LORD, to deliuer thee.

³A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.

^3*A man shall not bee established by wickednesse: but the roote of the righteous shall not be mooued.

⁶He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.

⁶He onely is my rocke and my saluation; he is my defence; I shall not bee moued.

⁹For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land shall hear of it, and shall environ us round, and cut off our name from the earth: and what wilt thou do unto thy great name?

¹⁶For these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water, because the comforter that should relieve my soul is far from me: my children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed.

¹²And thou shalt know that I am the Lord, and that I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.

¹³Thus with your mouth ye have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard them.

¹⁴Thus saith the Lord God; When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.

¹⁵As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, even all of it: and they shall know that I am the Lord.

¹²And thou shalt know, that I am the LORD, and that I haue heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountaines of Israel, saying; They are layed desolate, they are giuen vs ^†to consume.

¹³Thus with your mouth yee haue ^†boasted against me, & haue multiplied your words against me: I haue heard them.

¹⁴Thus saith the LORD God; When the whole earth reioyceth, I will make thee desolate.

¹⁵As thou didst reioyce at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I doe vnto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, euen all of it, and they shall know that I am the LORD.

¹¹He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.

^11*Hee hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face, hee will neuer see it.

⁶Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

⁶Surely he shall not be moued for euer: the righteous shalbe in euerlasting remembrance.

¹I WILL lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

²My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

³He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

¹¶ I will lift vp mine eyes vnto the hilles: from whence commeth my helpe.

^2*My helpe commeth from the LORD: which made heauen and earth.

³He will not suffer thy foote to bee moued: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

¹⁹Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.

^19†Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully, reioyce ouer me: neither let them winke with the eye, that hate me without a cause.

²⁵Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.

^25†Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we haue it: let them not say, We haue swallowed him vp.

²²Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

^22*‖Cast thy burden vpon the LORD, and he shall sustaine thee: hee shall neuer suffer the righteous to bee moued.

¹⁹Arise, O Lord; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.

²Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

²¹Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

²¹Keepe your selues in the loue of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Iesus Christ vnto eternall life.

¹⁸Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

¹⁸Yet I will reioyce in the LORD: I will ioy in the God of my saluation.

⁸But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.

⁸But I am like a greene oliue tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for euer and euer.

⁸¹My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word.

⁸¹¶ My soule fainteth for thy saluation: but I hope in thy word.

⁷How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.

^7†How excellent is thy louing kindnesse, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust vnder the shadowe of thy wings.

¹⁸Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;

^18*Behold, the eye of the LORD is vpon them that feare him: vpon them that hope in his mercy:

²¹For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.

²²Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.

²¹For our heart shall reioyce in him: because we haue trusted in his holy name.

²²Let thy mercy (O LORD) be vpon vs: according as we hope in thee.

¹²Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

¹²Restore vnto me the ioy of thy saluation: and vphold mee with thy free Spirit.

¹⁴That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.

¹⁴That I may shew foorth all thy prayse in the gates of the daughter of Sion: I will reioyce in thy saluation.

¹AND Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the Lord, mine horn is exalted in the Lord: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.

¹¶ And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart reioyceth in the LORD, mine horne is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is inlarged ouer mine enemies: because I reioyce in thy saluation.

²⁰And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.

¹⁰Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the Lord, mercy shall compass him about.

⁴⁷And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

⁴⁷And my spirit hath reioyced in God my sauiour.

¹¹The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

¹¹The LORD taketh pleasure in them that feare him: in those that hope in his mercie.

⁴Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.

⁵Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

^4†Then will I goe vnto the Altar of God, vnto God my exceeding ioy: yea vpon the harpe will I praise thee, O God, my God.

^5*Why art thou cast downe, O my soule? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God, for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

⁷Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.

⁷Returne vnto thy rest, O my soule: for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

¹³Be thou exalted, Lord, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.

¹³Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine owne strength: so will wee sing, aud praise thy power.

⁷I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.

⁷I will praise thee with vprightnesse of heart: when I shall haue learned ^†thy righteous iudgements.
