Psalms 74:22–23

¹⁸Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O Lord, and that the foolish people have blasphemed thy name.

⁵Now therefore, what have I here, saith the Lord, that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl, saith the Lord; and my name continually every day is blasphemed.

^5*Now therefore, what haue I here, sayth the LORD, that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule ouer them, make them to howle, sayth the LORD, and my Name continually euery day is blasphemed.

¹THE fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

¹¶ The foole hath sayde in his heart, There is no god; Corrupt are they, and haue done abhominable iniquitie; there is none that doth good.

⁴I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

⁵Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.

⁴I said vnto the fooles, Deale not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not vp the horne.

⁵Lift not vp your horne on high: speake not with a stiffe necke.

⁹Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name’s sake.

¹⁰Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is their God? let him be known among the heathen in our sight by the revenging of the blood of thy servants which is shed.

⁹Helpe vs, O God of our saluation, for the glory of thy Name: and deliuer vs, and purge away our sinnes for thy Names sake.

^10†Wherfore should the heathen say, Where is their God? let him be knowen among the heathen in our sight by the reuenging of the blood of thy seruants which is shed.

¹⁹Arise, O Lord; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.

²⁰Put them in fear, O Lord: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.

⁵⁰Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants; how I do bear in my bosom the reproach of all the mighty people;

⁵¹Wherewith thine enemies have reproached, O Lord; wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of thine anointed.

⁵⁰Remember ( LORD) the reproach of thy seruants: how I doe beare in my bosome the reproache of all the mighty people.

⁵¹Wherewith thine enemies haue reproached, O LORD: wherewith they haue reproached the foote-steppes of thine Annointed.

²⁹Because thy rage against me, and thy tumult, is come up into mine ears, therefore will I put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.

⁷Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.

¹⁴These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

¹⁴These shal make warre with the Lambe, and the Lambe shal ouercome them: ^*For he is Lord of Lords, and King of kings, and they that are with him, are called, & chosen, and faithfull.

²Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.

¹⁶All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee: they hiss and gnash the teeth: they say, We have swallowed her up: certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen it.

¹¹He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.

¹²Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.

^11*Hee hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face, hee will neuer see it.

^12‖Arise, O LORD, O God lift vp thine hand: forget not the humble.

¹HOW long wilt thou forget me, O Lord? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

¹¶ How long wilt thou forget mee (O LORD) for euer? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

¹WHY do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

²The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,

¹¶ Why ^*do the heathen ^‖rage, and the people ^†imagine a vaine thing?

⁴Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs.

⁴Thine enemies roare in the midst of thy congregations: they set vp their ensignes for signes.
