¶ Then Dauid gaue to Solomon his sonne the paterne of the porch, and of the houses thereof, and of the treasuries thereof, and of the vpper chambers thereof, and of the inner parlours thereof, and of the place of the Mercie-seate.

And the weight of the nailes was fiftie shekels of gold: and he ouerlaide the vpper chambers with gold.

Also he built Beth-horon the vpper, and Beth-horon the nether, fensed cities with walles, gates and barres:

This same Hezekiah also stopped the vpper water-course of Gihon, and brought it straight downe to the Westside of the City of Dauid. And Hezekiah prospered in all his workes.
