Psalms 26:2–7

²³Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:

²⁴And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

¹⁹We love him, because he first loved us.

²⁰If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

⁴⁶For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

⁴⁷And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

⁴⁸Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

⁴⁸Be yee therefore perfect, euen as your father, which is in heauen, is perfect.

²I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

¹⁴²Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.

⁵Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

¹WHY boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually.

¹⁰Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

¹¹Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

¹²Yea, the Lord shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.

¹³Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.

¹⁰Mercy and truth are met together: righteousnesse and peace haue kissed each other.

²²Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

¹⁹Hauing therefore, brethren, ^‖boldnesse to enter into the Holiest by the blood of Iesus,

²⁰By a new and liuing way which hee hath ^‖consecrated for vs, through the vaile, that is to say, His flesh:

²¹And hauing an high Priest ouer the house of God:

²²Let vs drawe neere with a true heart in full assurance of faith, hauing our hearts sprinkled from an euill conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

¹¹¶ Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the Lord which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god.

¹²The Lord will cut off the man that doeth this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto the Lord of hosts.

¹³And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the Lord with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand.

¹¹¶ ^‖Iudah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Ierusalem: for Iudah hath prophaned the holinesse of the LORD which he loued, and hath maried the daughter of a strange God.

^12‖The LORD will cut off the man that doth this: the Master and the scholler out of the tabernacles of Iacob, and him that offereth an offring vnto the LORD of hostes.

¹³And this haue yee done againe, couering the Altar of the LORD with teares, with weeping and with crying out, in so much that hee regardeth not the offering any more, or receiueth it with good will at your hand.

²³Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;

²⁴Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

²⁷Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat in the forefront of them, to go again to Jerusalem with joy; for the Lord had made them to rejoice over their enemies.

²⁸And they came to Jerusalem with psalteries and harps and trumpets unto the house of the Lord.

²⁹And the fear of God was on all the kingdoms of those countries, when they had heard that the Lord fought against the enemies of Israel.

²⁶¶ And on the fourth day they assembled themselues in the valley of ^†Berachah; for there they blessed the LORD: therfore the name of the same place was called the valley of Berachah vnto this day.

²⁷Then they returned, euery man of Iudah and Ierusalem, and Iehoshaphat in the ^†forefront of them, to go againe to Ierusalem with ioy: for the LORD had made them to reioyce ouer their enemies.

²⁸And they came to Ierusalem with Psalteries, and harpes, and trumpets, vnto the house of the LORD.

²⁹And the feare of God was on all the kingdoms of those countreys, when they had heard that the LORD fought against the enemies of Israel.

³⁷And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;

³⁸Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.

³⁹And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.

⁴⁰And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.

³⁷And when he was come nigh euen now at the descent of the mount of Oliues, the whole multitude of the disciples began to reioyce and praise God with a loud voice, for all the mighty workes that they had seene,

³⁸Saying, Blessed bee the King that commeth in the Name of the Lord, peace in heauen, and glory in the Highest.

³⁹And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude saide vnto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.

⁴⁰And he answered, and said vnto them, I tell you, that if these should holde their peace, the stones would immediatly cry out.

⁸And the LORD brought vs foorth out of Egypt with a mightie hand, and with an out-stretched arme, and with great terriblenesse, and with signes, and with wonders.

⁹And he hath brought vs into this place, and hath giuen vs this land, euen a land that floweth with milke and honie.

¹⁰And now behold, I haue brought the First fruits of the land, which thou, O LORD, hast giuen mee: and thou shalt set it before the LORD thy God, and worship before the LORD thy God.
