John 12:33–35

³²That the saying of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spake, signifying what death he should die.

¹⁹This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.

²⁴And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

²⁵And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.

^24*And Dauid my seruant shall be King ouer them, and they all shall haue one shepheard: they shall also walke in my iudgements, and obserue my statutes, and doe them.

²⁵And they shall dwell in the land that I haue giuen vnto Iacob my seruant, wherin your fathers haue dwelt, and they shall dwell therein, euen they and their children, and their childrens children for euer, and my seruant Dauid shalbe their prince for euer.

⁷Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

^7**Of the increase of his gouernment and peace there shall be no end, vpon the throne of Dauid & vpon his kingdome, to order it, and to stablish it with iudgement and with iustice, from henceforth euen for euer: the zeale of the LORD of hostes will performe this.

¹⁴And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

^14*And there was giuen him dominion and glory, and a kingdome, that all people, nations, and languages should serue him: his dominion is an euerlasting dominion, which shall not passe away; and his kingdome that, which shall not be destroyed.

⁴The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

⁴⁴And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

^44†*†And in the daies of these Kings shall the God of heauen set vp a kingdome, which shall neuer be destroyed: and the Kingdome shall not be left to other people, but it shall breake in pieces, and consume all these kingdomes, and it shall stand for euer.

²⁷And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

^27*‖And the kingdome and dominion, and the greatnesse of the kingdome vnder the whole heauen, shall be giuen to the people of the Saints of the most high, whose kingdome is an euerlasting kingdome, and all dominions shall serue and obey him.

¹³He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.

¹⁴¶ And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

¹⁵That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

¹⁶¶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

¹⁴¶ ^*And as Moses lifted vp the serpent in the wildernesse: euen so must the Sonne of man be lifted vp:

¹⁵That whosoeuer beleeueth in him, should not perish, but haue eternall life.

³⁶His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.

³⁷It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.

²⁵Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

²⁶For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;

²⁷And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.

²⁵Uerily, verily I say vnto you, The houre is comming, & now is, when the dead shall heare the voice of the Sonne of God: and they that heare, shall liue.

²⁶For as the Father hath life in himselfe: so hath he giuen to the Sonne to haue life in himselfe:

²⁷And hath giuen him authority to execute iudgement also, because he is the Sonne of man.

⁴²Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The Son of David.

⁴³He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,

⁴⁴The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?

⁴⁵If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?

⁴²Saying, What thinke yee of Christ? whose sonne is hee? They say vnto him, The sonne of Dauid.

⁴³He saith vnto them, How then doth Dauid in spirit call him Lord, saying,

⁴⁴The Lord said vnto my Lord, ^*Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstoole?

⁴⁵If Dauid then call him Lord, how is he his sonne?

⁷And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the Lord shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.

^7**And I will make her that halted, a remnant; and her that was cast farre off, a strong nation; and the LORD shall reigne ouer them, in Mount Zion from hencefoorth, euen for euer.

¹⁷His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.

¹⁸Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.

¹⁹And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

^17††His name shall endure for euer: his name shalbe continued as long as the sunne: and men shalbe blessed in him; all nations shall call him blessed.

¹⁸Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doth wonderous things.

¹⁹And blessed be his glorious name for euer, and let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen, and Amen.

⁷In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.

¹⁸Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

³⁴Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

⁵³Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?

⁵⁴Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:

⁵⁵Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.

⁵⁶Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.

⁵⁷Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?

⁵⁸Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

⁵³Art thou greater then our father Abraham, which is dead? and the Prophets are dead: whom makest thou thy selfe?

⁵⁴Iesus answered, If I honour myselfe, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me, of whom ye say, that he is your God:

⁵⁵Yet ye haue not knowen him, but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shalbe a lyar like vnto you: but I know him, and keepe his saying.

⁵⁶Your father Abraham reioyced to see my day: and he saw it, & was glad.

⁵⁷Then said the Iewes vnto him, Thou art not yet fiftie yeeres olde, and hast thou seene Abraham?

⁵⁸Iesus said vnto them, Uerely, verely I say vnto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

¹⁹Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

²⁰And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

⁴⁶I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

¹⁶A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.

⁶If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

⁷But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

⁶If we say that we haue felowship with him, and walke in darkenesse, we lie, and doe not the trueth.

⁷But if wee walke in the light, as he is in the light, wee haue fellowship one with another, and the blood of Iesus Christ his Sonne clenseth vs from all sinne.

⁸For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

¹²¶ Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

¹⁰But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.

¹⁶Give glory to the Lord your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness.

¹⁷But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the Lord’s flock is carried away captive.

^16*Giue glory to the LORD your God before he cause darknesse, and before your feet stumble vpon the darke mountaines, and while yee looke for light, he turne it into the shadowe of death, and make it grosse darkenesse.

^17*But if ye will not heare it, my soule shall weepe in secret places for your pride, and mine eye shall weepe sore, and run downe with teares, because the LORDs flocke is caried away captiue.

³⁶While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

³⁶While ye haue light, beleeue in the light, that ye may bee the children of light. These things spake Iesus, and departed, and did hide himselfe from them.

⁴I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

⁵As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

⁵O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.

³³Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.

⁵Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

⁶Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

⁷For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

⁸But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

⁵Yee are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkenesse.

⁶Therefore let vs not sleepe, as doe others: but let vs watch and be sober.

⁷For they that sleepe, sleepe in the night, and they that bee drunken, are drunken in the night.

⁸But let vs who are of the day, bee sober, putting on the brestplate of faith and loue, and for an helmet, the hope of saluation.

⁵And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

⁶¶ There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

⁷The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

⁸He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

⁹That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

⁵And the light shineth in darknesse, and the darknesse comprehended it not.

⁸Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.

¹⁰He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.

¹¹But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

⁸Againe, a new commandement I write vnto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkenesse is past, and the true light now shineth.

⁹He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkenesse euen vntill now.

¹⁰Hee that loueth his brother, abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of ^†stumbling in him.

¹¹But he that hateth his brother, is in darknesse, and walketh in darknesse, and knoweth not whither hee goeth, because that darknesse hath blinded his eyes.

⁶I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

⁷To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

^6*I the LORD haue called thee in righteousnes, and wil hold thine hand, and will keepe thee, and giue thee for a couenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles:

²⁴Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.

²⁵Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.

²⁶For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded.

²⁷Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.

²⁸Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

^22*Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should haue bene for their welfare, let it become a trap.

²³Let their eyes be darkened that they see not; and make their loines continually to shake.

²⁴Powre out thine indignation vpon them, and let thy wrathfull anger take hold of them.

⁷What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded

⁸(According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

⁹And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:

¹⁰Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.

⁷What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for, but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were ^‖blinded,

¹⁴But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
