Turne againe, my daughters, go your way, for I am too old to haue an husband: if I should say, I haue hope, if I should haue a husband also to night, and should also beare sonnes:

And they lift vp their voyce, and wept againe: and Orpah kissed her mother in law, but Ruth claue vnto her.

I went out full, and the LORD hath bought me home againe emptie: Why then call ye me Naomi, seeing the LORD hath testified against me, and the Almighty hath afflicted me?

And the LORD called yet againe, Samuel. And Samuel arose, and went to Eli, and said, Here am I, for thou diddest call me. And he answered, I called not, my sonne; lie downe againe.

And the LORD called Samuel againe the third time. And hee arose, and went to Eli, and said, Here am I, for thou diddest call me. And Eli perceiued that the LORD had called the childe.

And the LORD appeared againe in Shiloh: for the LORD reueiled himselfe to Samuel in Shiloh, by the word of the LORD.

And when the Arke of the Couenant of the LORD came into the campe, all Israel shouted with a great shout, so that the earth rang againe.

¶ And when they of Ashdod arose earely on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen vpon his face to the earth, before the Arke of the LORD: and they tooke Dagon, and set him in his place againe.
