(Which he had promised afore by his Prophets in the holy Scriptures,)

But nowe the righteousnesse of God without the Lawe is manifested, being witnessed by the Lawe and the Prophets.

But now is made manifest, and by the Scriptures of the Prophets according to the commandement of the euerlasting God, made knowen to all nations for the obedience of faith,

And God hath set some in the Church, first Apostles, secondarily Prophets, thirdly Teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helpes in gouernmēts, diuersities of tongues.

And the spirits of the Prophets are subiect to the Prophets.
